The Hon’ble Minister for Information and Communications congratulated the Space Engineers studying at Kyutech, Japan, for developing the CubeSat BHUTAN-1. BHUTAN-1 marks Bhutan’s first step towards development of Bhutan’s Space Science and Technology Program, which is a vision of His Majesty the King.

BIITTE is an annual event which provides opportunities for local ICT industry players to explore possible areas of collaboration with potential investors and established a network for the business tie up.
Datahub Workshop
Submitted by content-admin on Tue, 06/19/2018 - 15:17In continuation with data hub workshop DITT has organised on 22nd May 2018 with domestic IT vendors, Department of Information Technology and Telecom have decided to provide additional training on Datahub platform as requested during the workshop. The training will be provided for two days to enhance the competency of domestic IT vendors.
Capacity Development in Specialized Skills

The expectations on ICT and the responsibilities of ICT professionals have correspondingly increased both in depth and coverage. This situation calls for specialized skills in varied areas and high level of professionalism.
In light of this, 14 ICT Officials from various agencies attended training in PHP&MySQL, and global certification (Oracle) in MySQL database administrator from 4 - 15 June 2018 at Noble Prog, Delhi, India.
