The Government Technology (GovTech) Agency, Royal Government of Bhutan, as the lead agency for digital transformation, is committed to building a strong pool of highly skilled IT professionals in the country. As part of this effort, an in-person training program on Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics will be conducted in Thimphu, tentatively from18th May to 5th June 2026 (excluding weekends and public holidays). We invite IT professionals from private companies, corporates, startups, academic institutions, as well as aspiring tech enthusiasts to register by 8th May 2026 through the registration link provided below.

Participants are expected to have a basic foundation in programming (preferably Python or Scala), working knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, aggregations), understanding of core data concepts (ETL/ELT, data types), and basic awareness of cloud platforms and storage systems such as S3, Blob, or GCS. Please note that slots are limited and selection will be based on first-come-first-registered participants who meet the prerequisites.
