The first meeting of the Telecommunications and Broadband committee was held in MoIC mini-conference hall, which is inline with the Bhutan Telecommunications and Broadband Policy 2014. The member comprise of e-gov executive committee under e-gov governance structure, Telecom operators, ISPs and BICMA.

The main role of the committee is to ensure that the telecommunications and broadband policy & strategic action plans are implemented , and to resolve the issues.
The meeting is being chaired by Hon’ble Dasho Secretary, MoIC and attended by Director General, DITT, Director General BICMA, Director, RSTA, CEOs of telecom operators, Representative of ISPs, BPC, PPD and DITT.
