The Department of IT & Telecom, Ministry of Information & Communications is organizing the following training as part of the Digital Drukyul project for enhancement of ICT sector’s capacity and capability:

i. Microservice (current skills requirement) for system development : Delivery by mid of September 2020
ii. Blockchain technology and its application(future skills requirement) for application development including the networking aspect: Delivery by early October 2020

Both the proposed training will have major focus on hands-on so that by end of the training program, the participants will be able to develop systems/applications using microservice and blockchain technology. The training will be delivered online by leading institutes in the proposed training areas and therefore, time commitment will be essential.

In this regard, we would like to call for registration of ICT professionals from the private sector to participate in the training. Only a maximum of 3 people from one company will be eligible for registration. However the final selection of participants will be based on the registered number of participants and the slot available as we would like to offer this opportunity to as many IT firms as possible. This training will also be open for freelancer developers and startups in the tech space.
