The Government Technology (GovTech) Agency, Royal Government of Bhutan, as the lead agency for digital transformation, has initiated a 15-day Intensive Training Programme on Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics. The programme aims to develop a highly skilled pool of data engineering professionals in Bhutan capable of designing, building, and managing modern AI-driven data platforms. These critical skills are essential for enabling smarter decision-making, driving innovation, and strengthening competitiveness in an increasingly data-driven global economy.
The training programme will be conducted over a period of 15 days starting today through a hands-on, project-based learning approach. Participants will undergo practical sessions covering key areas such as data engineering fundamentals, cloud architecture, real-time data streaming, AI integration, and data governance. The programme will also include guided learning materials, quizzes, assessments, and one month of access to industry-standard tools and platforms to reinforce practical learning outcomes. A total of 25 participants have been selected from the private sector, corporate institutions, and the broader technology enthusiast community to participate in this capacity-building initiative.
