The 5th Joint Coordinating Committee Meeting for the “Project for Strengthening Government Capacity for Using Digital Technology and Data,” also referred to as the Four Banks Project, took place on March 7, 2025.
The meeting discussed progress on key activities, including the Small-Scale and Large-Scale Proof of Concept (POC) for the Digital Health App Pilot, the Digital Health Strategy, Laws & Regulations, the Bio Bank POC, and System Development. Additionally, a small handover of BP monitors and smart rings, which will be used for the project, was also carried out.
Attendees included the Dasho Secretary of the Ministry of Health, the Dasho Secretary of the GovTech Agency, the NMS President, the Chief Representative of JICA Bhutan, delegates from JICA HQ and Accenture Japan, and stakeholders from MoH, GovTech, NMS, RCDC, MoF, and others.
