Mandates

Continuous Service Monitoring/ upkeep of Critical Government systems
Respond to and resolve incidents or service disruptions, minimizing downtime and user impact
Implement and manage changes to digital services, ensuring they are properly documented, tested, and executed without disrupting operations.
Provide a central point of contact for system owners/focal to report issues, request assistance, and receive support.
Identify and address the root causes of recurring incidents to prevent future occurrences.
Coordinate and manage the release of new features or updates into the production environment
Deploy and configure digital services, applications in collaboration with teams from DSD & CSD
Maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment processes and configurations
Ensure patches, updates, and security fixes are regularly updated to maintain the security and stability of digital services.
Ensure data backups and recovery procedures are implemented to ensure data integrity and availability.
Monitor and address security vulnerabilities and incidents
Implement security best practices to protect digital services from threats
Carry out minor Software Maintenance [minor changes] and Bug Fixing
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers
Maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and configurations
