Digital Service Operation and Maintenance Division
Mandates
- Continuous Service Monitoring/ upkeep of Critical Government systems
- Respond to and resolve incidents or service disruptions, minimizing downtime and user impact
- Implement and manage changes to digital services, ensuring they are properly documented, tested, and executed without disrupting operations.
- Provide a central point of contact for system owners/focal to report issues, request assistance, and receive support.
- Identify and address the root causes of recurring incidents to prevent future occurrences.
- Coordinate and manage the release of new features or updates into the production environment
- Deploy and configure digital services, applications in collaboration with teams from DSD & CSD
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment processes and configurations
- Ensure patches, updates, and security fixes are regularly updated to maintain the security and stability of digital services.
- Ensure data backups and recovery procedures are implemented to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor and address security vulnerabilities and incidents
- Implement security best practices to protect digital services from threats
- Carry out minor Software Maintenance [minor changes] and Bug Fixing
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers
- Maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and configurations
