The GovTech Agency in collaboration with the Department of Trade, Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Employment (MoICE), and the World Bank is currently undertaking a Bhutan National Single Window (NSW) Visioning workshop to promote regional and international trade facilitation from 6th-8th Feb 2024.

The visioning workshop aims to introduce the concept of a Single Window and to draw up a common vision for the implementation of the NSW. A three-day workshop is attended by all relevant stakeholders from both the government and Private sector. This initiative will lead to streamlining the export-import process through a centralized platform for submitting regulatory documents electronically. By integrating various stakeholders and standardizing information and documents, this effort seeks to minimize duplication of efforts and ensure smoother information flow, benefiting both government bodies and businesses engaged in trade.
