Hackathon: Reimagining Government Websites

The Government Technology Agency would like to invite interested firms with valid business licenses to participate in the upcoming hackathon themed “Reimagining Government Website” that will be held at Thimphu from 24th-26th August 2024. Please kindly register for participation on or before 22nd August 2024 by 5:00 PM.

The winner of the hackathon will be awarded an annual contract as detailed in the link Terms of Reference

Mandatory criteria for the hackathon participation are:

1. Valid business license
2. Tax clearance certificate
3. Proof of employment with the firm for the team participating in the event
4. Team composition : Total of 4 members in a team comprising of:
a. Team lead- 1
b. UX/UI designer- 1
c. Web Developer proficient in wordpress-1
d. System Administrator- 1
5. 1 firm can only have 1 team participation
6. Minimum of 8 teams will be required for the hackathon to be conducted. If there are more than 8 teams then a pre-selection process will be conducted. Pre-selection will be based on the application submitted through the registration process
