What is the National Data Exchange (NDE) Platform?

The National Data Exchange (NDE) is Bhutan’s official government interoperability platform that enables secure, standardized, and real-time data exchange between government agencies and systems. Originally initiated as the Datahub Project during the 11th Five Year Plan, it was rebranded as NDE to reflect its enhanced capabilities for facilitating seamless data exchange across all identified data hubs.

NDE is the only standardized channel for interagency digital communication in the Royal Government of Bhutan. It promotes automation, reduces redundant data collection, and ensures data integrity between government systems.
